The voice of diplomacy blows for peace in the world

Mr Peter Marshall, ex British diplomat in mission at Malignani High School, has held 5 interesting lectures during this school year (December 2022/January 2023) to our receptive and responsive students.  

The lecture “The British Monarchy and the Royal Family” was chosen by the classes 1^LSAE, 1^LSAC, 2^LSAC. The House of Windsor, Queen Elizabeth II, her popularity, her official duties, her love for animals, the next King Charles III. The monarch stands for national identity and pride, the true symbol of stability and continuity for the British people.  

The lecture “From the British Empire to the Commonwealth” charmed the students of 3^LSAC. The Tudor king Henry VIII started to build the royal navy, which challenged the Spanish settlements in South America.  From America to Newfoudland, from Jamaica to India, from Australia to South Africa. Until the sun never set on the British Empire and English became a multicultural language. 

The lecture “Vision and Hope” attracted the interest of the classes 4^LSAC and 5^LSAC. Pandemic, recession, depression, rebirth: out of crisis comes opportunity. Be generous, be compassionate, be aware of your  talents and your  duties in the community.  

The voice of diplomacy vehemently blows for peace in the world. We all wish to follow such peaceful and sweet wind. “Thank you Mr Marshall for your motivational lectures. We also want to make a difference in this world. We shall treasure your words and the fruitful mindset you embodied with your passionate speeches and your energetic body language”
