“Frida Kahlo: the chaos inside” is a temporary exhibition hosted at Salone degli Incanti in Trieste. It is an emotional journey to get to know Frida: her clothes, her jewels, her letters, her studio, her bedroom. This exhibition wants to show Frida as an indipendent woman and as an extraordinary artist. The chaos inside is a photographic and interactive path that fully involves the viewer.
Frida was a Mexican artist of outstanding personality and passionate life. She suffered a lot for a devastating tram accident and a tumultuous love story with Diego Rivera and yet she was able to live her life to the fullest. In fact, Frida was a creative painter, a political and social activist, a transgressive woman. Frida’s universe is enchanting and worth discovering.
The great sensorial impact mentioned by the exhibit curators was a bit disappointing and Frida’s original paintings were missing (apart from 1): only good photographic reproductions. The exhibition is recommended to those interested in the biographical details of Frida Kahlo, her colourful world at Casa Azul, the murales of Diego Rivera (her husband) and the original portraits of Frida by the talented photographer Leo Matiz.

«The form of the infinite» is the key to enter modern and contemporary art, to make the infinite visible. “The infinite is lurking behind the first appearance of things. Even the heart of human beings is filled with an immense aspiration to the infinite and the bitter pain of not being able to reach it.”
This was the opening of “The form of the infinite”, the art exhibition on at “Casa Cavazzini” in Udine from October 2021 to April 2022. Fifty masterpieces of prominent artists such as Monet, Gaugin, Cézanne, Matisse, Kandinskij, Boccioni, Roerich and Picasso were offered to thousands curious visitors such as the students of Malignani high school of Applied Sciences.
The exclusive artists, the competent guide and the involving themes of the paintings, exploring the mystery and the ultimate meaning of life, managed to meet the great expectations of all of us. An immersive experience with interactive workshops to perceive the paintings through our senses and to imagine the feelings and thoughts behind each work of art. Experiencing different colors, sounds and materials we could feel the thrill of infinity in our veins.
We strongly recommend this exhibition as it is the most successful we visited in the last few years. Do not miss the journey of one hundred years of beauty from figurative to abstract art, exploring the infinity hidden in nature and the human soul and enjoying the magical atmosphere of the rooms of “Casa Cavazzini”.
